Version 5.4.4
This is a semi-major version upgrade from 5.3.4.
IMPORTANT:
- If upgrading from any version prior to 5.0.1 see release notes for the major version upgrade details.
- If upgrading see Upgrade Identity Panel
- If performing a clean install see Install Identity Panel
- Any Panel Service instances running with only an Admin role group assignment must be reconfigured to run with a Writer role assignment. Accounts with writer role will be unable to save settings changes, and accounts with admin role will be unable to read encrypted values.
WARNING:
- This version includes improvements to multi-value attribute processing that require a database migration, by running
C:\Program Files\SoftwareIDM\IdentityPanelWeb\Web\WebAgent.exe --upgrade
- This change breaks backwards compatibility with Panel Service. Before installing this update you should disable the Scheduler (under Environment Settings, or Schedules depending on version), and avoid running schedules until BOTH:
- The database migration has completed
- All instances of Panel Service have been upgraded to 5.4.4. Depending on the size of your environment the database migration may take a few minutes, or may take a number of hours.
